Many,many moons ago, I was born in London, England. However, Canada has been my home and native land for years now so I think of myself as Canadian.
I love creating - ANYTHING - my mind is a cornucopia of ideas that keep buzzing around and keeping me awake at night,
I draw little people and animals - I collect public domain art that is so enchanting that I must, absolutely MUST include it in my work.
I'm addicted to making little tiny circles and squares, Everywhere I look I see circles in squares and squares in circles. If I'm not seeing circles and squares, I see vintage pictures with a hazy look. I love old I love new, I'm totally conflicted!
Not only that, but I used to be a writer, now I call myself an artist - go figure.
When I'm not making circles and squares - I like to imagine tags and labels.
I'm of an age where I've missed out on the Facebook, and Twitter community - but I'm learning - slowly but surely.

Looking back over the years of my childhood I can easily see that I was destined to be a treasure hunter. A treasure hunter in more than just the sense of always looking for that valuable piece of art or collectible but in the sense that I could find treasures almost everywhere.
I would find something completely beautiful about how the sun's rays would cast down on an old decaying Tobacco Shed overgrown with wild purple thistle and Queen Anne's Lace and want to preserve that treasured image forever. Or I would spend many days wondering the fields, creek and hillside in search of an artifact, unusual stone or a new plant I had never seen before. Again I would want to capture that moment and keep it with me to treasure during future rainy days.
Obviously one can't capture and keep everything without becoming a hoarder. Along with that I am a type A personality needing organization and order, so building my little shops to pass these treasures on to others has enabled me to pursue my passion.

Colleen - what a lot of work you put into these postings. Thank you for adding my humble store www.etsy.com/shop/arttoart to these other wonderful offerings. As I mentioned in my intro, I'm not exactly Social Media savvy but I do intend to look at ALL the stores you've mentioned, I know how to favourite, how to post to Pinterest - facebook is another story - sometimes I'm successful, sometimes not.
Lately I've been making "fabric postcards" I'm loving it. First group I listed sold immediately - I'll post a link to the second group I've created.
